Cubase License does not show in eLicenser after activation code entered

It is exasperating trying to install Cubase AI which came with my Yamaha MG10XU. I downloaded an activation code and input it. The license for Cubase AI shows up in the box and when I clicked ‘Continue’ no license appears in the next page for me to proceed.

Can you see a Soft-eLicenser Number on the left side of the eLCC application? Did you see the download process bar while the license was downloading?

Hi Martin,
I tried downloading again and I received a "License Activation Successful’ message. But when I went on to launch CuBase, it shows this error Message:
VCRUNTIME140_1.dll was not found. Reinstalling program may fix this problem.
Previous attempts I also had this message and it was the same message the first time around as well.

Hi,

This error message is most often fixed by reinstalling Cubase. The library should be installed with Cubase.

Make sure you:

  • Download the Full Installer.
  • Unpack the ZIP file and install from the unzipped folder.
  • Install from the setup.exe.
  • Install as administrator.
  • Install to the system (C) drive.
