soft elicenser removal

Post by fiddler738 »

My soft elicenser number 5240059247 - 113FAD2742 is deactivated and no licenses appear to be on it. It causes an error message "soft_eliceneser doesn't have anought permissions to run properly. Please run LCC to fix this problem." Even without the dodgy spelling mistakes this would be irritating. LCC does not seem able to deal with the problem. Cubase appears to be working fine so is there any way I can remove the soft elicenser from my computer and the list on LCC?

It is in programdata/synchrosoft and yes you can remove it. But you can then not install any soft elicences ever withou fixing the issue. First try to run el.control as admin (rightclick run as admin) then start maintainence (need internet connection for that). That should fix it. Otherwise delete it or just rename it for later trouble shouting.

On Windows 10, erase the file here: C:\ProgramData\Syncrosoft\
