Really? The Artist series is more expensive than Behringer and Icon, but I would say that’s because of more features and the build quality is much better. The displays and motorized faders are quite a step up from cheaper brands. I’ve never had any stability or reliability problems. What kinds of problems have you had? Which model do you use?
