I’m not sure if it is a bug, user error, or just the way things are, but I can’t seem to be able to add additional layers to a pad by dragging samples from the Load Panel (instruments) onto a pad (it doesn’t give me the usual three options as I mouse-over)…it always replaces the pad’s content.
The only workaround i’ve found is to drag content to an empty pad, and then from that pad onto the pad I’m wanting to layer sounds on.
Hope that makes sense.
Any insight here?
