hi - two questions re cleaning up media bay …

  • audio files. once incorporated into a project, can i delete raw audio files that i’ve imported and not have it impact the project?

  • trash. is there a bulk delete option, or one file at a time?

thanks. and sorry if i missed it in my search. oddly, even when i search ‘cubasis’ in google it gives me ‘cubase’ results also which makes it difficult.

Up front:
We strongly suggest to backup projects and files on a regular basis, preventing data loss.
Once done, you might give it a try to delete single files at your own risk.

  • trash. is there a bulk delete option, or one file at a time?

Please use “Delete” to delete single files, “Empty” will empty the complete trash bin.

thanks. i tried and confirmed that deleting the raw audio files after importing them into a project does not impact the project.

and thanks for pointing out the ‘empty’ button; i hadn’t seen that before. my storage capacity appreciates it.
