Hi. I am about to do the upgrade from Artist 6.5 to Pro 10.5.12…
And I don’t know if I should uninstall the Artist version (and all other old plugins and stuff) first, to avoid any issues between old and possible “dirty” files and the new. I would really like to start “clean” again…
Does the (upgrade) Pro 10.5.12 use or “rely” on any of the Artist 6.5 files. Plugins, instruments, anything…? Or does it contain everything itself?

You don’t have to uninstall it.
Cubase 10.5 will not overtake Cubase 6.5 preferences (it migrates only 2 major versions back). In Cubase 10.5 you will get HALion One instrument, installed with Cubase 6.5, which you wouldn’t get if you would uninstall it. That’s the only one change I can come to.
