the CPU is completely maxed out, but I cannot see if there are any monitoring or record-enabled tracks, at least to see how abnormal that is.
Maybe you could keep an eye on the Activity Monitor and see if you can spot any CPU-heavy processes.
Please, also provide the computer specs to support.
