Apple begun to use 64-bit technology in Mac OS X Leopard (version 10.5), it’s 11 years ago. Apple warned about stopping use 32-bit app 3 years ago. MacOS 10.15 for developer was available about 6 month. Was it a surprise for Yamaha/Steinberg? Is it possible that in our time a huge corporation cannot hire a couple of people in advance to support changes on time? Why should users put the product aside or stay on the old version of the OS? Do you think this is normal? Exposing system and personal data to dangers due to the old version of the OS in order to remain compatible with Steinberg products?
Steinberg wake up! Now is 21th century. It doesn’t work anymore! I’m leaving for another company and my friends with the Mac intend to do the same.
