It's only a matter of time before this thing is gone no?

I’ve been on the fence for a few years. It looks great, it sounds as though it’s built to last.

But I see buying it & then support stops & they make no more controllers, or buying it and they release CC122X or something bad ass that eclipses the 121.

All I can say is I got one used ( still paid more than I would have liked ), and I find it very useful for track selection and volume/pan. It is only because I never have to look at it to know I am controlling the right track. Not ajusting the volume of an adjacent or something by mistake. It is the only unit that is totally bi-directional, that I know of. I also use it for effect send levels. Yes it is limited in other functions but for me this really improved how I work. It is also built really well. Too bad Steinberg abandoned delevopment.it could have been so much more. Hope this helps.
