How do you trigger the release samples (noises)?
Do you use the Note-Off Trigger in voice control section or Mega Trig?
If you put the samples in a layer and set up Mega Trig to play them on note off (instead of using Note-Off Trigger) you can make use of the variation groups. You might want to adjust the amp envelopes, maybe set them to one-shot mode.
