In the Iconica set there are solo woodwinds and brass instruments. I miss the solo strings instruments so I can make a string ensemble or any other chamber music combination. Will there be an addional release or supplement?
Been almost 5 years since this post. I would like an update for Iconica, too…just in time for the Holiday Season. Thank you for your conisderation.
Thanks for reminding me I posted this so long ago. Steinberg never replied nor released a solo string addition. Already shortly after the release I got the impression they had changed their mind on Iconica and never fully supported it. They never released expression maps for Iconica for Cubase, they did for Dorico but that looked more like a private project than a company one. Guess we’re stuck with an expensive tool without much future.
Cubase can import Expression Maps straight from Steinberg’s VST 3 instruments. Click “Import Key Switches” in Cubase’s Inspector.
