Did you ever find the answer to this? I have a similar issue: I had Kontakt and the rest of the NI stuff on my system and switched from Sonar to Cubase. Since the NI files weren’t on C (windows machine), Cubase doesn’t see them. Trying to find out what the best thing to do is.
