Is Halion Sonic the VST that has a look similar to the “HyperSonic 2”?
does it comes with cubase artist or only the pro? I was hoping to have some powerful sounds with the purchase of the artist edition.
Yes, Sonic does look similar to HyperSonic. It’s also a multi timbrel module.
Sonic SE does come with Cubase Artist. It has less sounds than the full Sonic 3 VST, but is still a good start.
Halion Sonic SE has primarily sounds from the Motif Classic and a small selection of sounds from the full version. Cubase Pro comes with more sounds than Artist.
Overall the soundset of the full version is pretty different compared to Halion Sonic SE.
