I’m editing samples for Sample libraries so accuracy is key 
I have a situation right now where I need to apply trimming to thousands of files while keeping the perspectives of multiple microphone positions, so with sample accuracy I know exactly what I’m doing in case I have to go back and compare etc…
In situations where sample libraries are made with combinations of mic positions and different distances, I feel that sample accurate editing is the best way to understand the relationship between various samples recorded at different distances. Especially when it comes to phase relationships. Calculation in milliseconds is good but it’s only giving me a “ballpark” idea of what’s going on.
Any thoughts?
