hi Steinberg, when Cubase 7 encounters a problem with a plugin upon startup during initial plugin scanning, any chance you can add a few lines of code to trap this problem and deal with it? instead of Cubase just locking up and “failing to respond” and going into a tailspin loop. Or heres an idea…a “skip plugin” button on the screen when it encounters a problem so it can move onto the next plugin…
so boring to have Cubase go through lists of plugins, and just lock up one after the other and need to relaunch C7 dozens of times over and over to bash through problem plugins just to get Cubase open. i just wasted an hour of my life here. Thats time away from my girlfriend on the couch. she is not impressed.
