Dear all,
I have a midi project with several tracks. From within the mixconsoloe I adjust the volume of these tracks to get the right balance. However, when I then restart/rewind the midi file, these volume changes are lost. How to I freeze the volumes to the project?

Make sure automation is not turned on.
Automation was not on.
The midi tracks contain instructions for volume. By turning ‘chasing controllers’ of in the preference the problem can be solved. However, controllers other than volume are then also affected. But maybe this is the way to go?
Why not just delete whatever commands are in the volume and expression controller lanes then? Also the controller instructions should not effect the mixer settings??
