I just bought an upgrade for Cubase pro 10, and i don’t need it at the moment, Should i activate the upgrade now or should i wait for the time I would need it (and maybe get a grace upgrade to 10.5)?

No, you are not forced to activate it now. You can wait untill Cubase 10.5 and ativate it then and get 10.5 for free.
Yup. That’s what I am doing. I am too busy to figure out 10 right now
