My only question is how this ever happened?! 
I’ve got the same error on a 32-bit windows XP running Cubase 5 with NO internet connection!! I’m using this system for over three years now with no problems whatsoever and then …just like that …ERROR!! How can this be? I didn’t do any updates, did I? Is it …in the air?? 
Anyway thanks again, any thoughts appreciated as always…
