I just downloaded the newest version of Kontakt 6.3.1. Now whenever I close an instance of Kontakt in Cubase 10.5, it hangs Cubase, and I need to re-start Cubase.
This used to happen also in old Kontakt 5, but not in Kontakt 6 until now.
Infuriating!
Anyone any idea how to troubleshoot this?
Never betatest NI’s latest updates, especially not Kontakt?
I allow NI ZERO auto-updates on my system, after bad experiences.
I know this doesn’t help, but no problem here with 6.2.2 on C10.5
Can you recall whether the problem existed with your previous version, and what that version was?
Kontakt 6.2.2 running fine here in Cubase 10.5.20 as well
I was about to update then saw some people were having issues with it so didn’t.
Good news. This issue went away on re-boot. It still happens with the last version of Kontakt 5. But is ok with all versions of Kontakt 6.
