Crashing after update

I upgrade from Cubase Pro 8 to Cubase Pro 10.5, it starts in safe mode and comes to the page where it asks you to disable thing and after that it just closes/crashes.

I can’t figure out and have not got any response from any of the support tech yet.

I hope someone could guide me here.

Appreciate your co-operation in advance.

Thanks.

Philip

Hi and welcome,

First, please make sure all your plug-ins are up to date.

If Cubase is still crashing, attach the crash/dmp file, please.

Mac: macOS Console utility > User Reports folder (or ~user/Library/Logs/Diagnostic Reports).
Win: Documents/Steinberg/Crash Dumps

Hi Martin,

Attached find the Crash file.

Hope this is the file.

Appreciate your help.

Thanks.

Phil

Hi,

To me it seems the system is somehow not doing well. There is no Cubase or any plug-in mentioned in the crash thread. It’s totally on the system side:

HI Martin,

I just realized that the report is of my mac-mini.

I can’t seem to find the log of Cubase Crash.

The above report was generated in the Log soon after the Cubase Crashed. Therefore I assumed that this would be the log file. :frowning:

greetings
i am facing a similar issue can anyone check the crash file

Please, investigate on the igd10iumd64 DLL.

Hi Martin,

Sorry didn’t follow… its a macmini whats with the dll

Hi,

But you are running Windows on the Mac, right?

My point is, the crash is not in Cubase neither in any plug-in. The mentioned DLL is crashing. Sorry, I’m not Windows guy, but you can Google for the fix of this DLL.

hi everyone, I also have the same problem with the Pro version 10.5.20. The problem does not occur with the Pro version 10.0.6 which is the version I use at the moment.
I am attaching dmp files for those who can lend a hand to solve the problem.
Thanks in advance,
Angel
