How to hide files at unchecked folder in MediaBay?

Hi, I’m using Cubase Pro 10.5.12 Build 123
I unchecked the samples folder(NI Komplete Previews) from MediaBay,
but when I search media file, the files in sample folder are still there.
I did ‘Refresh Views’, ‘Rescan Disk’, ‘Quick Rescan Disk’, but it doesn’t work.

How can I hide these files?
Sincerely Ryan.

Hi,

Are you sure these files come from the unchecked folders? Did you click to Remove from MediaBay when you unchecked the folder?

Hi, As you can see from MediaBayFile.png
I unchecked the folder.
But I don’t know how to ‘Remove from MediaBay’.
When I right click at the folder, there is no ‘Remove from MediaBay’.

Hi,

I see you unchecked the folder, but my question is, if you are 100% sure the content you see comes from the unchecked folders. Because this is the issue (as far as I understand you) that you can see a content of unchecked folder, right?

To be honest, I don’t know, how to remove the content from already unchecked folders. So I would try to enable it and then disable (uncheck) again. Cubase will ask you, if: Remove from Database folder name. Click to Remove, please.

You should also be able to find the (hidden) mediabaydatabase file in the folder (in File Explorer or Finder). If you delete it, the folder should become invisible for MediaBay.
