Hey,
i did a test with a Focusrite Saffire Pro 40 with its INTERNAL ZERO LATENCY LOOPBACK.
Routing was:
- Studio sends a 1 sample click to the Performer via VST CONNECT
- Performer receives it and sends the signal via the internal Loopback to the INTERNAL LOOPBACK OUTPUTS (Saffire mixer is zero latency!)
- These Loopback outputs are set as INPUT 1 (Mic) and INPUT 2 (Inst) of the Performer APP
- Studio recived the signal via VST CONNECT
Ended up recorded just 6 Samples delayed in Nuendo. These 6 samples delay might be the “zero latency” of the saffire dsp mixer.
So, i would say it is totally fine with this system.
I will repeat this test with an RME UFX Interface and some Focusrite Rednet DANTE Systems
