I’m mighty MIDI stupid so please forgive me:
I’m trying to get my ekit (Alesis Surge Mesh) to talk to EZ Drummer via USB. When EZ Drummer is in stand-alone mode it works perfectly with my ekit. But when I route it thru Cubase that’s when things go awry. For example when I hit the snare pad it triggers snare, hihat, floor tom and ride all at the same time. I can’t figure out the mapping for the life of me.
Any suggestions would be helpful. I have 3 projects I need to get done in the next 9 days.
