Panning of stereo samples?

Post by Glouglou »

Hello friends. Many instrument samples in GA5 are stereo samples (nice) but many of them are hard-panned to one side (not so nice). It prevents me from including many of these sounds in my own kits unless the samples panning fit my needs which is rarely the case. Using the pan knob on these stereo samples just decreases the volume on one side of the samples so it is pretty useless to reposition the samples in the stereo field. Anybody has a solution to this problem? Any way to simply play these sounds as mono and then use normal panning?
Windows 10, Cubase Pro 10.5, HALion 6, Groove Agent 5, accoustic and electric guitarts, a bunch of synths and a terrible voice. Before calling me out on my english grammar, know that being french speaking means I'm allowed one typo per forum post and one typo in me signature.
