There’s a bit of workflow issue here IMO.
The best example would be Reggae/Dub effected drum sounds - like delay. That is, the effect is really part of the instrument.
If I have a bus inserted delay effect on a snare or kick drum, and go to save that pad as an instrument… The effect is not saved with it.
I think thus, there needs to be effect inserts per layer and or pad. The bus channels should be solely for combining more than one pad output together… for example, all snares to a bus, all kicks to a bus, etc.
