hello. i have my mr816 running as a slave via adat into another recording interface and into protools. the signal is weak in protools but is showing clipping on the interface.the channel light blinks red, this seems to be at a lower than normal volume though. any thoughts. thanks
you’ve probably got the level on your ‘other’ sound card’s mixer set low, check the mixer panel for the ADAT ins so you can see the signal level coming from the 816 which will be hot if it’s clipping. Then see where it’s been sent into protools.
