I’ve just followed the Steinberg advice “Optimizing Windows for DAWS”. I’ve slimmed out the autostart using Start > Run > “msconfig” and deactivated a lot of stuff. The speed increase is very good and I thnk the playback audio quality is much improved. However my CC121 now doesn’t work so I guess I must have deactivated the driver. When I reverse all the deactivation, the CC121 works fine.
Doesn’t anyone know what has to stay activated to get the CC121 working when I slim out the auto-start?
