first impressions

I spent the whole night trying out and learning Spectralayers, it took a while to get used to working with audio that way, but it is quite powerful once you understand the tools and what you see.

After a while I got an eye (more then ear) for what to do with the material just by looking at the spectrum. I was successful in removing the music, including transients, from a movie dialog where the voice and music shared frequencies, still keeping quality pretty much intact. I only used the standalone though since I haven’t upgraded to Cubase 10, will have to try the ARA version before buying it.

Nice!!
