4 vocal tracks selected, multiple clips per track. When separated for timing adjustment, the 4 tracks in Melodyne (ARA) go off the top of the Melodyne display despite it being set to max. This behaviour is not replicated in Cakewalk where the Melodyne display is normal, given the exact same set of clips and tracks.
Solution: In Cubase bounce all 4 tracks multiple clips down to just 4 clips, one per track. Result: Normal Melodyne display.
This suggests to me that the Cubase implementation of ARA causes the display problem in Melodyne?
