User Feedback messages would be nice, rather than just a beep when Cubase receives a user error.
An example:
I’m working away firing off keyboard shortcuts and suddenly a valid keyboard shortcut I used a second ago, no longer works and i just get this beep that lets me know that for whatever reason the operation was invalid. Without any contextual information about the error I’ve no idea to know what I’ve done wrong and why a certain operation cannot proceed.
A couple of times I’ve looked around trying to find what I’ve done wrong and ended up just restarting Cubase.
I guess this could be a small status bar or some kind of dialog that gives me some info.
