Making a note invisible in Score Editor

Post by TavernSenses »

I want to make a certain note invisible in Score Editor. How can I do this? The note still has register in replay. So "mute" or "delete" is not an option.

The reason I'm looking for this functionality is that the key switches (articulations) for certain of my instruments are inserted as notes (either in the very low or very high registry) in the midi parts. When I display these parts in Score Editor, the key switches are printed as normal notes along with the "real" notes. This of course is not ideal.

Unfortunately, the "Hide Note" function in Score Editor is not available in Elements 10.5. Sometimes I hate Steinberg for the simplistic way it differentiates its product price classes. :x
