i do a lot of sample library these days. For this you need to create lots of files and rename them multiple times.
problem is… when you copy paste some names lot of time you always end up doing a mistake.
problem with renaming files in nuendo using the Edit info line is that if you exit the editing and did something wrong, the name of the file on the hard drive is changed and you can’t undo that. You can manually rename it back of course but many time i forget what the original file was called because it’s been days and i’m on an other process of batch naming thousands of files.
don’t know if that’s tehcnicaly possible… just saying it would be nice to have undo working for that.
