Group editing also for VST assignments

Post by HorNet505 »

sometimes I loose my VST-Connection in multiple Midi lanes (in a folder). f.e. due to a reloaded VST Rack.
I now have to manually assign each Midi track to the VST Rack again. It would be gread if the EDIT AS GROUP feature on folders would also work here.
Optimal would be to select "=" on the folder, assign the VST rack and it would be the same for all sub-Midi-tracks in the folder.

You can hold Alt+Shift to apply changes done with the Track Inspector (like the input and output routing) to all selected tracks.

What you're suggesting would make things a bit confusing since folders are commonly used to group layered sounds, which often come from different plugins or different instances of a single plugin.
Every time someone says "it must be easy to add/fix", a programmer dies.

Cubase Pro and Wavelab Pro (latest), Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, MSI Z87-G45 GAMING, i5 4690k, GeForce GTX 760, almost every Steinberg plugin and expansion, Trilian, Komplete 10, etc etc etc etc
