A goog search turned up mostly Ableton stuff (and one Logic example)

I have read about folks here (on Maui) that study whales
and their activities who are now using software
(AutoTune) like this to aid with the study of
whale song.
How they are doing that… I don’t have a clue but I guess audio
slicing software can be used for several different
real world applications.
