Loving the latest update for Wavelab Pro 9, however I’m continually experiencing the program crash and disappear without warning in the middle of a session.
Firstly, I had some previous problems with the application opening various instances of itself on open, as well as the application becoming stuck in the dock and not wanting to quit without forcing, but narrowed that down to the ‘lock plugin’ setting being turned on, which has since been resolved in the latest update.
Since then, I’ve tried closing specific applications running in the background (i.e. Dropbox for some reason was hogging a lot of CPU which I thought might be causing an issue) as well as limiting myself to using just one screen monitor and docking/hiding all analysers when not needed to see if it’s a visual performance issue or something, but still, the program just keeps quitting randomly with no obvious time pattern or when I’m using a particular processor/plugin etc.
My current work-around is to create automated back ups at 5min intervals, and I’m in the habit of saving after literally every parameter move, but it’s not healthy to keep that up!
Haven’t managed to grab a crash report yet (will do next time I’m in a session), and I’m sure it’s more likely something to do with my system or settings, but perhaps the forum gods can bestow some light on my situation as others may be experiencing similar difficulties?

Many thanks in advance for any advice offered by users and admin, and hopefully that’s enough info to go on for now.
