I do find it a lot better to use than the 2 x Artist Mix that I used to have. The functionality is largely similar in theory but it’s better mainly because you get a lot more visual feedback (due to the colour coded LED’s) and quite a few things can be done with less button presses than on the Artist Mix.
Yes, it is quite expensive and certainly not without flaws but worth it in my opinion.
