Wavelab LE 9.5.50 consistently crashes on Mac

Dear members,

I freshly installed Wavelab LE 9.5.50 for the first time, on an up-to-date Macbook Pro running MacOS 10.14.6.

I am able to start the software, but every time go to “Settings” and “Audio Connections” the program crashes.
Also, when I try to start a recording using the " * " shortcut, the software crashes.

There are no audio-devices attached to the mac. I did not install any plugins whatsoever.

Any help?

I have exactly the same problem. Wavelab 9.5.50 crashes after few seconds. And also when clicked “audio connections”.
