device setup midi

I am gonna use Cubase LE 8.
When I do the device setup there are now i/o channels for midi.
How can I put these on?

Why do you want to put MIDI Channels there? What is your use case?

Cubase is always receiving data on all MIDI Channels and transmitting MIDI data on the MIDI Channel you define on the track (if Any MIDI Channel is selected, then it’s based on the MIDI Channel of every single MIDI Message).
