Yes! UEFI is the new mode you should use. Legacy is the old and now will soon be phased out. Legacy mode is only useful if you want to be able to boot from for instance a CD or an old USB stick. Users that claim to have better performance with a DAW using legacy mode are fooling themselves or can be considered to spread ‘fake news’. It’s only applicable during boot/startup.
