I recently hooked up a pair of KRK monitors into my UR12 using the RCA output connectors. I record interviews in Adobe audition, where I also do all my editing.
Up until now, I’ve always worked on a pair of studio headphones and built in or bluetooth speakers, so whenever I wanted to switch between speaker or headphone, I would just change the output from the Steinberg interface to the built in output. Now that I have both speakers and headphones plugged into the UR12, whatever is playing in the speakers is also playing in the headphones, which means I can’t record with direct monitoring through just the headphones and not the speakers.
Is there a simple way to switch between my headphones and my speakers either through the Steinberg hardware or some software?
