UR242 No Sound but Connects and Lights Up.

Hello,

I recently upgraded my macbook pro 15-inch 2017 to OSX 10.14.6 Mojave. The UR242 seemed to work fine after the upgrade, but then the sound stopped working from both headphones and speakers.
Here is what I have done so far:

  • Updated the driver


  • Updated the firmware


  • Uninstalled and reinstalled the driver

And still, there is no sound. The UR242 appears in the System Preferences > Audio list. When I switch from computer audio to UR242 audio, I hear a slight pop in the headphones, which tells me that the headphones are powered working.

The UR242 can record sound from a condenser mic into cubase, but I can not play the sound.

Any ideas? Please help, I am going abroad soon and need this unit to work as I am going abroad with it in a few days.
