Is it possible to route a single channel from UR22 to both channels

I’d like to play an instrument through the right channel of the UR22 and use QuickTime Player to record the audio in both channels.

In Logic, this is straightforward as I just select channel 2 from the UR22 input device and set the channel to mono.

Is there any way to do this without the use of a DAW or expensive software like Loopback?
