Tonic is usually stored within the Cubase program folder for the version of Cubase installed, so if you haven’t deleted Cubase 6 it will still be in
Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase 6\VSTPlugins\Filter
then you can copy it to a similar location within Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase 8.
