I downloaded the 4 version from steinberg then obtained a license for LE which will open LE 8 on friends Windows 7 laptop but wont open on Elicenser on My MAc. I dont know if I need the LE 4 version or if Elicense database needs to be updated, which I can not get it to do as it is too old. Very frustrating being a poor musician. It will be quite sometime before i can update.Also my old version of Cubase SE disc is too old to run on my mac. I would be happy with that but it just quits at install.
