Hey Android fans,
Pls just forget Cubase IC, not much point for "pressing" it.
It hasn't been updated for iOS in more than 2 years!
Mac i7 2.8GHz 16GB RAM, OS X.8, iPad A6X 64GB LTE, Apogee Duet, M-Audio Axiom PRO 49, Novation LaunchPad, Cubase 7, Ableton Live Suite 9,
Reason 7, WaveLab Elements 8, various VSTi's, AU's and hardware synths...

Currently, I use TouchDAW on my HTC Desire, but it isn't anywhere near as fully featured as this is. As a Cubase user, I would much prefer to be using the official app, but I refuse to pay an 'Apple Tax' to do so.
Core i5 2500K OC @4Ghz
16GB DDR3 1600 RAM
HD 5850 1GB
Steinberg UR824 audio interface

Win7 64bit. Cubase 6.5. Reason 6.5. BFD2. EastWest Symphonic Orchestra Gold Complete. EastWest Pianos Gold.

Yes, it is about time for an Android app. Seeing that Cubase is cross-platform, the app should be non-exclusive to Apple as well.

Although android sucks for music apps as a controller it could be O.K even with the latency.

Seriously! I just got the Galaxy Note 2 and have the capability to do more than any ipad user...I want to edit my tracks on the go! Come on, Steinberg! Get it together! Get with it! iOS is losing footing like crazy. Android blows it out of the water and the hardware on Android devices is a million times better. Tech heads have all migrated. Can you? Please? Pretty please with sugar on top?

I'm a little shocked that an ios fanboy would want to keep a powerful tool away from us Android users. How completely atypical of ios fanboys! Haha.
Meanwhile, I've never messed around with android as a platform but in the work I have done with both midi and operating systems, I've found with some tweaking, latency issues can be fixed. I think the important thing to realize here is there is a huge user base that is being overlooked. The idea of editing a track on my phone while on a plane or away from my studio is...well...that gets me amped up. This needs to happen!!

I could not wait for android version, I finally bought my first apple device ipad mini. Mainly bcos its powerful operating system I heard from user who shifted from windows to Mac. Now after using just ipad mini with just 512 mb ram but so much power no latency at all. I heard a lot about android cons with latency and it will take more time for android OSto develop to overcome such issues.i was preferring android mainly for its cheap price, but I don't regret I bought ipad mini. Even the screen size is more suitable for more control compared to real hd display 16:9.
