One wish: Maybe a little video tutorial for using cubasis with audiobus? Still can't figure out how to use the audiobus input slot with cubasis. It's not working for me, but what am I doing wrong...

I have to add my 2 cents...One of my bigger downfalls in my last 50 years has been that I never read the instruction sheet. That has gotten me very far but in the last several years, those instructional pages have been transformed into video guides. I repeatedly zone out once I loose track of what I hear or see and then it is kinda like driving somewhere and you forget the things in between where you started and where you are, or watching that red line gradually move to the right with nothing to show for it.

The Cubasis tutorial has just reduced my learning curve by leaps and bounds. I did not see it initially but just finished the first...I feel so accomplished, I didn't zone out AND IT HAS MADE MY USE OF THE APP REMARKABLY MORE VIABLE. Thank you!

I refer to it as the 'READ ME LATER' file. Lol

The Cubasis manual is well written and video tutorials are a great add on. I know in this day in age some people will never read a manual and just go straight to YouTube. I know for myself that when looking at a new app in the app store I will often go to YouTube to see it in action, check reviews and see if it's a right fit for me. I did this before purchasing Cubasis and could tell right away it was something I could easily dive into without having to read the manual 20x before I got it.

I regret buying Music Studio. Even though it can do a great many things, the app seems to go the hardest route to achieve the simplest things. I've tried going through the manual but......uh just give me Cubasis, it so intuitive.

This is not whining about it..... i simply have no understanding why, but I do need to read THIS manual over and over. I have uncanny abilities to take things and repair rebuild and restore. Tech manuals are my thrill. Getting the midi stuff and the loops part is proving to be something I have such a low grasp off. I can hear music in my mind that I can multi-track by playing several instruments and l layering them in a recording. Creating tracks via electronic software and VST's .... Not yet. I am intuitive everywhere in my life but on Cubase and Cubasis AND for no more than the basic elements. My greatest accomplishment in Cubase is a 10 track bluegrass tune where I played mandolin,banjo,guitars, bass and fiddle parts for the entire song and a few jazz standards that still need drums or some percussion.

The Cubase demo I saw 8 years ago was made by a great local keyboardist. He had maybe30 tracks of Latin jazz all done with his DX 7 . What did I know about midi...nothing, I never fully understood those manuals either. This is the stuff I really enjoy and it is passing me by for the lack of understanding it.

I regularly sit with the iPad on YouTube replaying those videos and enjoy them ..... But it is short segments only and it will take some time to get thru them. And with all that, I love it. Do it as often as I can. It is a good thing I have a job I really hate .... that pays the bills.
