I then decided I would go for Absolute VST pack but not sure if its worth the extra cash as Cubase 7 comes with 2 of the VST and also the SE version of HS.
Is it possible to upgrade the Halion Sonic SE verion to full version and how much (GBP)?
Finally I now have read that Halion 4 has all of the Halion Sonic sounds and capabilities plus its own massive sound bank, is this true so it would be worth taking Halion 4 over Sonic?
any help appreciated as I am purchasing in next couple of hours.
One last thing to mention is that I will be purchasing Educational versions of all, so already a good saving.
HSSE is a full product all on its own, so it does not have an upgrade path to HS.
I am not sure whether you *need* H4 and its editing capabilities, but yes, it has more sounds in total.
The purpose of your purchase really ought to dictate what to buy.
