eLicesner Not detecting.

Hi,

I am running Window's 7 64. I have installed the elicenser software and when I put the dongle in so I can download my key on it, it does not appear in the program. But when going to "devices" on the computer it is showing up under "other devices" with a yellow exclamation mark on it saying it needs drivers.

I have uninstalled the software, re-installed in overwrite mode, changed usb ports to legacy and back. Even had technical support from the company I brought the software from remote into my computer and saying its a faulty dongle. So today I brought a new dongle and its doing the exact same thing. I have tried it on different usb ports etc.

The first few times I put it in, I would get the windows pop up in the bottom right saying its installing the device then a few minutes later come back saying it can't find drivers.

I have run the elicenser app in administrator mode as well...

Has anyone else had this problem? and know a work around? I am running out of ideas and the last thing I want to do is have to do a format to find that doesn't fix it either.

I have just plugged it to another win7 computer and it is working fine. Can any one suggest how to fix this issue on my production pc?

I would really love to avoid having to format.
