- Nuendo 4 contains 38 new VST-3 Plug-Ins, beneath the new Channel EQ, and comes with totally more than 60 high-quality Plug-Ins.
- Side-Chaining is now available for a large number of VST-3 Plug-Ins, drag & drop functionality for insert-effects.
- Numerous first-class native and DSP-based effects are available from third-party-providers such as Waves, URS, Universal Audio, Sonnox or TC Electronics.
- You can seamlessly integrate external effect processors and MIDI instruments via the audio hardware’s inputs/outputs and use them as Plug-ins. Latencies are automatically compensated.
Recording Workflow

- A set of tools is available for processing audio events - Range, Pointer, Stretch and Timewarp.
- Integrated Sample editor featuring special functions such as hit-point recognition.
- Nondestructive real time calculation of fade-ins, fade-outs and cross-fades.
- Flexible (Cross) Fade editors and Auto Fade function.
- New Instrument Tracks: a combination of MIDI Input and Audio Output enables flexible working processes with VST-instruments
- Offline process history for deleting, swapping and reconfiguring individual editing steps for each audio event (for example, normalizing, stretching and pitch-shifting).
- Common applications such as Autotune or Melodyne for ironing out musical problems in audio files integrate directly into Nuendo
Mixing and Automating
